I used epoxy clay for the main sculpture. The wooden frame/book-shaped box is store bought. I hand-burnt the title and the ornaments on the front cover, then sealed it with my shop logo as a sign of authenticity. The size of the wooden frame/cover is approximately 9"x8"x2". I painted the sculpture with acrylic paint. Sealed the ark and the sky using a matte sealant, and gloss varnish for the waves.
The last time I used clay in my art was when I was a teenager, so I would consider this piece as my first ever professionally sculpted clay figure. My motivation for this piece was driven by the Holy Spirit. I felt an urgency to create this artwork, to the point that I dreamt about it. The next morning, I immediately shopped for materials. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I was able to successfully complete this piece within a week. I hope my devotion radiates from this sculpture and into your home.
